CSX 6000 at Barrett-Jackson
It will be interesting to see if this car hits the name numbers this Sat as the last CSX 6000 car did at Barrett-Jackson.

Yeah with a dual plane manifold and small stock distributor. Maybe with 11" wrinkle wall slicks.

Yeah, not as much as last time. I heard that place is pretty empty due to all of the storm complications.

I was there yesterday and bythe afternoon the sun had come out and it was filling up. attendance today is average for BJ so I dont think the lack of crowds has to do with it as much as the economy. Replica and CSX cobras(continuation ones) have never done well at B-J at least not for the last several years. Only the originals seem to do well. There just isnt a big enough demand from the types of bidders they target for these cars. I would certainly look to buy one there as you can get a deal. The shelby/roush booth were trying to sell new csx6000 for $120K finished but I doubt they get many takers at that price

There are only two types of Cobras -originals and replicas. The "continuation" ones are replicas and their value is just that.
BJ prices are not indicative of the true market value of any car.

Ok , When it comes to cobras , Its like women and shoes , Women wear shoes to impress other women . I don't think anyone here cares what john Q public thinks , We are interested in what other Enthusiast think .Don't get me wrong here I would love a csx . But even Mr.Becker didn't call it real . So is it a kit car , sure is , comes as a kit don't it ? Csx3xxx came as a car . Hell an Aurora , Autocraft MrKIV even a Excaliber came as cars . So is it a real shelby ? Sure is , a real Shelby Cobra kit car . Just one poseur's 2cents .

Per SAAC: NOT a replica
Per "General Public" aka "People who drop $100K+ on CSX Continuation Cobras": NOT a replica
Everyone Else: REPLICA, but who cares what they think.

If it wasn't built in the 60's, it's a replica. Same as the GT40's.

And two others went in the "60 K" range before that !!!!
The CSX market is all over the place but not in the 120k range in this economy.

They all must be accounted for by now

Csx6000
I agree with previous comments the engine would be lucky to have 600hp and some of the other claims are hard to believe.............!
Quite a nice looking car in its RARE paint job, I wouldnt mind it, but it would pale into insignificance for performance compared to the rocket ship under construction in my garage, but at least the CSX6000 is a runner.

I know that some of Becker's cars have had 600hp 427 SO's in them. One of them was built by the guy that built my engine. Becker also sources from some other builders too though and they are probably more like 500hp, although that's just a guess. He may not have updated his description text as the cars are all pretty similar.
