I think they're pretty cheap too. We make everything with a hammer and they stamp their stuff so the cost/time difference is hard to justify. Anyways, would be glad to help anyone interested in a re-body.

Thank you
Stamped? Don't see any stamping machines in this video, lotsa hammering though.

Sorry, I think your Spider is quite nice, but the Kirkhams are no doubt as proud of their hand formed bodies as you are...

As far as the Chevy drivetrain, at $80k there won't be much intrest I'm afraid. Even the Autokars don't fetch this much and they're considered "real" Cobras.

OK, from what I can see in the small pictures, I like the body and can see no reason to gay it up with the chebbie motor or the boat interior. I know that sounds harsh but to go the distance towords originality of making an aluminum body only to back-track that far with the drivetrain and interior just doesn't make sense to me. It smacks of "Darryl Starbird's" hotrod show.

I have second hand info that's all. And it goes likethis someone who was in Polland made it clear to me that the small parts are hammered as seen here in the video (inner fenders) but the large parts body shell is supposedly stamped. If in fact this is true it does not take away from their awesome cars.

Thank you for your opinion

Sort of. A buddy of mine had a very close call years ago on a U.S. Open jaunt in New York. It was his first trip outside of the Caribbean and he was determined to make the most of it the very first night out on the town. When he finally got wise (thankfully without going too far), he went ballistic in the bar and almost got himself and a couple of his friends arrested. We have never let him live it down.

I expected posting the pics would have this effect. The pics were posted to show what the shape of the car is per someones request. the car in the pics is not a/the car we are offering only the body. The Chevy drivetrain was requested and I personally like it, the interior was also by request. The question (and I think I can see what the overwhelming answer here is going to be) is wether anyone reading this forum would consider our alum body cobra with C6 Drive train.

Thank you for the response/opinion

Body, yes.

Chebby power, NO!. Tip: Chebby power is heresy in the Cobra world. Period.

Hi guys. Do I have to respond to this bull....? The only cobra with an hardtop I sold to Europe 6 years ago is in Munich/Germany now and Fred, the new owner is more as happy with it. Phone number can be given but should I bother my customers in reason of those idiot threads? Also our reputation about our U$390.000 Spyder re-creation is telling everything about quality.

The kit description reads word for word from the kit description of the FFR kit. And the ebay description lists this

Interior
• Authentic 14” wood and aluminum steering wheel with polished aluminum boss (listed in steering assembly), and FFR ceramic center badge.

Why would they include a FFR steering wheel insert if it's their chassis? <sarcasm>

Obviously they merely copied the FFR kit description but overlooked this one small detail
