I think there are different flavors of Right Stuff, but the Grey version is pretty heavy duty and good for valve covers. It even has a picture of a valve cover in the data sheet. http://www.permatex.com/documents/td...tive/34310.pdf ...and, it indeed calls for Permatex Gasket Remover. I should have mentioned that it doesn't like plastic or paint either.  |
