Bruce indicated he uses rocks to type with so I am a sending him some SD cards to take pictures. Then I'll get the cards in the mail and share.

When I first reached out to Bruce about the opportunity I had no idea he had these options available to the extent he does. Top, flares, fiberglass boxes, trunk pan, etc. I'm really excited to see how this turns out. One of the things I'm looking forward to is getting the car done then bringing it up there so Bruce can see it.

Allen, please bring Bruce coffee. It's cold in Florida so I know it's brutal up there.

FYI, that is not the final body. That's a test body being used to check fitments with all of the changes going on.

Yup, and a great chassis to work with for this conversion.

This is easily one of the most interesting threads on the site. I can't wait to see the finished product.

More... front backbone structure I might need to update the title of the thread. Not as much of a FFR mkIV chassis anymore...

Just curious....will you be using sidepipes or will your build have an under-car exhaust, perhaps a street style with exhaust pipes out the rear?

Very interesting thread!!

Cheers from Dugly

It will definitely have sidepipes. Custom headers / exhaust.

Bruce sent some good pictures this week...

Trunk with reworked rear frame. Lots of changes back there. IRS owners, look closely...

Foot box plugs. Molds will be made from these then the final pieces will be made. The foot boxes will be white gel coat on the outside. The inside of the box will have black tint to the fiberglass.
