Default A Riddle

Riddle me this: What does this deal and the Legal Code of Alfred the Great both have in common?

Hmmm, that's not bad.

Correct. And if you knew that without Googling it, I'm proud of you.

Fran is getting really close to having enough on the list to do them. Lately he has been getting daily calls.

Huh? Wha? How many on "the list" now? I wonder why all the calls now. It can't be this superfluous thread.

Do we have a weekly update?

Actually, given it's March 2011, this would be the 3rd Annual Magnesium Wheel Wannabe's Shareholders Meeting. I call the meeting to order.

Old Business? New business?

Default Update

OK, people.

Bob from Vintage Wheel hasn't called back yet. I even tried him yesterday.

No news from Richard means...(where's that crickets smilie?)

Fran said to sit tight. I'll call him Monday.

Patrick, if it makes you feel any better, Trigo is still a "NO".

...and Chas still hasn't sent me his address.

FYI, I do have to end every sentence with a smilie.

Mike it's nice of you to be the de-facto Kress and dribble info out. I have some questions to you or him on behalf of these guys who worked very hard to organize a buyers group-for any manufacturer.
How come Kress doesn't get on and inform this group of his new-found interested buyers. For $1100 per wheel that would be a nice touch. The 'he doesn't compute' is trite crap-the Kirkhams for instance have no aversion to talking to their customers or prospective customers. Hell, they even get on and HELP people without selling them anything.
How come the guys that got on Fran's list (making 'daily calls') didn't get on here and inform Rodney where they went and the status of the situation. Why didn't Kress get on or PM and tell Rodney? I think end-running Rodney after his patience and effort is piss-poor.
I don't have a KMP and I do have mags-my only interest is to help get these guys get what they really want.

I'll say. Even apoplectic geriatrics have grandkids that can help their feeble fingers bang the appropriate keys. Mostly the "I don't compute" is just a crock o' shi* excuse for really not giving a damn to begin with. But in the business world, that can be fatal (or at least prevent you from achieving what you could have....)

Fran told everyone on day one he has no computer skills. You are actually not helping the guys get wheels. You are only adding confusion to who really wants wheels. I have no idea why you are going off on fran. He is a one man show. He is not a business.

I think Cobra Pack is right.

This isn't helping.

Fran is more than likely our ONLY hope for mags.

He has come through in the past.

He has fans and they have positive reviews of Fran and his wheels.

I don't care if he does it by smoke signals.

Phil Schmidt is a one man show and a business. He doesn't post here but he doesn't have a spokesman here either-he just makes wheels and sells them when people call him up.
