Patrick, very nice job !!! I see you did some fancy machining. My install of the LED strips gave me that little extra light at braking and is basically undetectable under the rubber molding in the day time. As a safety factor I would prefer a higher light but haven't decided if I want to mount anything to the body yet. with a lot of razzing and nagging along for the ride. Here are the two threads that dealt with it. The first was the long, painful thread as I blindly stumbled down the "3rd Brake Light" path. The second thread is the step-by-step instructions for the people that wrote me asking me for part numbers and how-to pics so that they could do it as well.
