I have #239 for the last 6 years it was built in 1998, registered in 99. currently has about 50k miles on it.( plactic odometer gear stripped about a year ago, trying to make my own! lol)
It has been such a great car. I certainly like the older 8.8 Ford diff. strong, cheap, easy to find, lots of parts support.
my car does not have a dropped foot box but even with a size 13 shoe its not a problem. i have changed alot of things, but more to suit me than necessary fixes. Big brakes, alum hubs, manual master cylinders, drag radials, 4.10 gears, big fuel system , redundant msd ignition system are the big items.
Some day ill have the new motor done.
Its a work in progess lol but thats what makes it so fun
