I'm truly not trying to stir anything up here, but... I think the guys that "claim" glass is better than AL have never owned an aluminum Cobra. In the bare, they are the easiest body to maintain. Scratches and dents are relatively easy to deal with, and require no repainting. If you paint them, that changes the amount of work.

I agree with you. Having owned a '66 Corvette Convertible for eons and eons, I think it's "six of one, half a dozen of the other."
Certainly there's absolutely no difference when they sit in a garage all the time.
