Need feedback on expected performance from 289 Cobra

If you want 0-60 performance a 300hp EM would be mellow ride. Z06 would most likely take it. There is more to cars than 0-60, if that is what you want don't buy a Cobra as it sounds like you are buying to be fast alone. Cobra's are raw, fast and utilitarian and no where near modern attributes as a C5 Z06. Cobra requires a like for the car itself, buy a Hemi-Dart as it will be a fast 1/4 miler...

My 289, correct for car, will be set up for track so 0-60 will not be a huge worry. 2nd-3rd and 3rd-4th will be a blast..... On a track equal to or better than Z06, on a strip more Pinto-like....
