My Roush 427 SR/TW has the Roush valve covers, but no number stamped onto them. Oil consumption is an issues with many of these engines as I hear, and it was with mine. But I replaced the valves, valve guides and seals, and the problem was totally solved. Since this, I have no complaints about the engine whatsoever. Might want to find out if you have the Twisted Wedge Cam option with that particular engine. I swapped the Holly 770 cfm carb with an 850 Pro fuel double pumper, and it has works great.
