It does start right up after shut down. I have tried letting it idle and I have feathered the pedal before it shuts down. It is a mechanical fuel pump. I do have a glass fuel filter and there is full of gas. This is a new problem. It ran great prior to this. I'm thinking more along the line of a coil problem as Texasdoc mentioned but wanted some input from some of you before just replacing everything.
