The other problem I see is that you are asking above private party "concourse" pricing for a car that is not concourse level. Most who are willing to spend the big bucks, expect the car to be 100% stock. While yours is ultra clean, and tastefully modified, it is not anyone elses idea of the dream except yours as the owner. One day you'll understand what I am saying, but speaking with you last year at the LVSAAC show in Hershey(among other venues we were both at), you were still not ready to hear, or understand where I was coming from.

Then came the modifications,I worked at Hank's Speed Shop in Berwyn Pa in the early 70's and it was like being in the candy store with carbs,headers,traction bars,etc at my disposal.
Then came the gas crisis,a tour with my Uncle Sam,marriage children,etc,and the Boss was tucked away for over 30 years.
In early 2002 I decided it was time to bring back the Boss and with a Boss cars Reunion coming up in 2005 at Carlisle I had a deadline.
I didn't want a concours trailer car I wanted a performance car the way it should have come from the factory if you could build it the way you wanted.
At the Boss cars reunion I got a lot of looks and comments including many saying why did you do such and such and not restore it to stock.
Boring !
The highlight of the reunion was an award from Dr.John Craft,author of several Ford and Mustang books
John wrote to me.
"I really liked your Boss '9.I especiallyliked the fact that you clearly built it to drive!That made it much more interesting to me than the typical run of the mill concours car.Of course,the incredible attention to detail and the overall quality of the work done to the car speak for themselves"
I really respect the fact that the vast majority of members here drive not only their hand built replicas but the original Cobras as well.
So,if anyone has a Cobra that they want to trade along with a pile of cash I'd rather the Boss go to someone here that can appreciate and enjoy it then to a garage to be uncovered once in awhile to be stared at
