I love my Cobra, nothing else like it. But, I have thought about trading it for a Porsche 996tt. My wife would be more likely to use it on date night and she likes to drive too.

Justin, if you are thinking about a Porsche and you don't need a back seat to torture your children, take a look at a Cayman.

They are about half the cost to buy and maintain and have a torque curve so flat you can actually use them in city traffic and they really really handle.

My kid calls them the " everyday" or " working man's " Porsche and even females can drive them without stalling them and burning out the clutch.
If you stall a 911 at a traffic light, to restart it, you have to jump up and down on one leg and rub your belly and pat your head to defeat the f'ing security computer.

The Cayman also has mega storage for all the stuff she has to have to go more than 100 miles from home.

I have never driven one, but Porsche is proud as hell of their auto, in fact, they have some new models that you can't get a manual.

The DSG trans is awesome with the paddle shifters, nothing can shift as fast, but I need a manual trans just something about me doing the work, that's why the 911 is the ultimate driving sportscar...
