Ah Bill, you have a way of summing it up!!! (BTW, you turned me on to the "Family Guy 'Where's my Money' clip years ago).....I have used it although Fox keeps pulling it off youtube.

Personally, I compared both Backdraft and SPF before finally buying the SPF.

Reason: the size of the backdraft didn't look right to me. Those extra couple of inches (added to the wheelbase and interior width) which neither my wife nor I needed. Quality of construction seemed to be comparable. BDR is definitely less $$$ to complete.

However, If you're a "big ole boy" and your passenger is also, then you'll appreciate the extra cabin room in the BDR.
