When getting geared up to build my car was going to use a 454 Chevy till a Ford guru convinced me the car would sell better with a Ford engine. Same guy convinced me to go with the 460. I have never built anything with resale in mind that by itself adds limitations.
Any well built project will sell despite all you hear from the naysayers.
