Before you get too 'wrapped around the axle' about all those 'foreign' cars, take a look at the linked infographic published by Car and Driver magazine (A Graphic Representation of What's Really "Made in America" - Feature - Car and Driver). It clearly indicates that, when it comes to North American content, the Ford (60%), Chev/GMC (61%) and Dodge/Ram (70%) pickups have less than Toyota Tundra (80%), Toyota Camry (80%), Honda Accord (80%), and Honda Odyssey (75%). There are many other examples of 'foreign' cars with much higher NA content than the domestic models they compete against. Food for thought.

It's clear to see the nameplate and its origins don't necessarily provide any meaningful information as to where it's made and whether it is truly a 'foreign' or 'domestic' car.
