CC is like a sine wave. It climbs up, then down, then really low, and just when you're about to give up, it comes back up, gets higher and higher, then does it all again, and again, and again....**)

I'm not sure if Real1 has served out his sentence yet. If he hasn't this thread isn't going far without a key instigator. If he has completed his sentence, it's kind of cruel to be tempting him back to his bad old ways.%/

Why not? We should encourage recidivism around here.

I'm still thinking we should discuss which car has the most aluminum as a percentage of weight. And of course how the amount of aluminum impacts resale. Could be fun. :3DSMILE:

Thor maine 11-19-2015 11:24 AM

That's not a Real conversation.

Detroit Bill 11-19-2015 02:49 PM

I have a long list of changes I am going to make this winter. I may be able to fill in some dead space with some drivel, with photos!

RACERAL 11-19-2015 03:08 PM

I have real conversation.

Which is better, big block or small block?

You're an instigator Al!

How about Webers vs Carb(s) vs EFI?
Or, maybe "real" magnesium wheels and then Sunburst vs....
Then we can go to MSD vs Mallory vs all the rest.

Pretty sure all this ground is covered, but a fun thread (so far):)

Buzz 11-19-2015 04:24 PM

LS vs. Coyote...

RodKnock 11-19-2015 04:50 PM

Ooh, how about dual versus single roll bars. That always a good discussion.

Or how about which way the quick jacks should face?

Maybe someone could post a pic of a red Cobra and we can all try to guess which shade of red it is?

DanEC 11-19-2015 04:51 PM

Points/condenser versus Pertronix always generates a lively discussion on the C1 & C2 Corvette Forum. We could just substitute MSD for Pertronix.

Or, are knock off wheels inherently unsafe and doomed to fall off the car unexpectedly? Will they fall off if I install them backwards (tighten to the front of the car)?

Ahh - maybe not. %/

Dan, maybe you can start a thread, feigning an electrical problem, and Patrick can come to your rescue, thereby boosting his ego, which requires daily massaging anyway.

And we can get a pic of Ellie in a reindeer suit.

I'll have you know that I'm quite comfortable with a weekly ego massage.

Yeah, unfortunately I usually don't have to feign an electrical problem. :o

But the pic of Ellie in a reindeer suit with antlers would be cool. Need the Rudolf red nose too. :)

It feels like we are all doing a parade lap!**)....

What color is blue and what is really Guardsman Blue?

There's no controversy with this last one you mention.

Everyone knows the 1st rule of driving: "What's behind me is not important."

Jamo 11-20-2015 01:17 AM

I'm reading this thread and LMFAO...

DanEC 11-20-2015 04:38 AM

External slave cylinder versus hyd throw out bearing.

Tremec .64 vs .82 5th gear.

LED tail lights

Flat tappet versus roller cams

Are my TA Radials too hard?

Lots of fertile ground to plow for winter that skirt the really dangerous issues.
