I was going by his weight at time of death which was 128 lbs. When filming the Big Boss, he only weighed 124 lbs. Most of his movies he was at a buck thirty. At times did he weigh more, absolutely. I remember when he had gained a bunch of weight from weightlifting and didn't like how it impacted his speed and movement.

I don't think anyone can doubt he was all muscle and sinew. How healthy it is to try and maintain that low % of body fat all the time is another topic (at least that's my excuse :)). Cheers.

Chuck Norris was a world champion fighter before a Movie & TV Star. He outweigh Bruce by 40lbs.
steven seagal, Van Damme were also real fighters before Hollywood.
Jet Li, Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa, Jason Straham, The Rock, Stallone... All Actors

You're making a HUGE assumption that the best fighters in the world fight in an organized system like the Karate Championships. Just because Norris can out-point an opponent in a match doesn't necessarily make him the best of the best in terms of a real fight.

Buzz 11-22-2015 05:02 AM

Well that was fun! Kind of timely too - my wife who does book editing in her spare time, recently completed a biography on Chuck Norris. I didn't go through the whole thing, but he was definitely not a real world fighter. Points karate champion yes, but that's a sport in which you neither deliver nor receive full contact blows and he's actually a bit of a pacifist when it comes to physical violence. Lee by contrast was all about fighting, and supremely conditioned for just that. He was a known brawler and fought real world fights against other martial artists. The movies made him famous but they were secondary to the constant development of his fighting skill and philosophy which was his true vocation.
In comparison, Lee vs. Noris would be like a 130lb mountain lion vs. a 160lb Labrador. The lab would put up a brave, respectable fight, but odds are strong it would be shredded by the leaner, meaner, better equipped fighting machine.

I tend to agree over the years have seen the same kind of people in action, once witnessed a fight like that. Everyone always said of that particular fight knowing the combatants that if the larger man could have landed a solid punch it would have been over. He ended up on his back so quick he never had a chance.

Good to be loyal to a brand.
Superformance is a great car, no argument there.
Your presentation of your loyalty to such may need a little work though.

Clearly you value the "authorization" of your car by Shelby and factored into the price you were willing to pay. Rightfully so. SPF makes a fine car too.

Buddy baited the hook, dangled it and Evan swallowed it.

Some things never change and some people never learn.

Let's all go fishing.

There are those that buy something for the prestige, investment, and/or bragging rights.

Then there are those that buy because they love what they own.

I shall not make an assumption as to you and/or anyone else's mindset for those choices, as I am not in your shoes, yet at the same time, you are not in mine. So, best that you do not add labels strictly based on the money spent for one item or another. Vain, conceited, and narcissistic are words I never want associated when others are discussing me.

Some will get it, others will not, which one of those two groups are you associated with?

5 pages of nonsense and you picked me to quote? Move on.... go back to Hall Monitoring a forum in which you do not own.
I've seen you bullied members who re-start a dated thread.

More importantly, where do you fall in the Chuck Norris versus Bruce Lee battle? :p

For me, I would add "know-it-all" to your word list. I like to think I learn something new around every turn!

Wow. Cool. Usually, you either only post about a Shelby Cobra replica for sale or new pending lawsuit against Shelby.

Oh man this is funny - MRMUSTANG must have left to go to the bathroom or something because he would have taken all this down by now if he was reading it (just like he does at the SAAC site)!

I didn't mean that as a dig on Bill. Hope it didn't come across that way.
I meant it as a trait that I don't want to be thought of having because I am certainly no "Know-it-all" by a long shot!
