Forgot to ask, how did you make out with the car in NJ?

I'll send you an email. I don't want to take the thread "off topic."

Indeed, I try to learn something new every day, cars, bikes, planes, and just about anything else mechanical in nature. Keeps my head on straight, and my mind firmly in gear.

Again some will get it, others never will.

Got it, sounds like you both were happy with the deal. Look forward to the pictures once it arrives.

Oh, I totally get it.
And BTW, it's a proven fact that narcissism is incurable. I know a few and can only tolerate them so much.;)

I used to be narcissistic. But now I'm perfect. :)

All in fun and hope you realize that.;)

Oh. You were kidding? I assumed you were talking about me.

You're right. Narcissism may be incurable.

Not talking about you or anyone here specific. And yes, it's incurable. Look it up. That statement I made came from an old book.

Then there are those that buy because they love what they own.

I shall not make an assumption as to you and/or anyone else's mindset for those choices, as I am not in your shoes, yet at the same time, you are not in mine. So, best that you do not add labels strictly based on the money spent for one item or another. Vain, conceited, and narcissistic are words I never want associated when others are discussing me.

Some will get it, others will not, which one of those two groups are you associated with?

Bill S.

Enthusiasm is measured in many ways not just how much money one spends on a car. There are many factors to consider.

jhv48 11-23-2015 05:06 PM

Well, that explains everything!

At least now we know which category he falls into.

Well put. I for one believe that I suffer from some level of OCD once I am fixed on a project or problem, be it a certain screw or part or something they all say doesn't exist. And I will chase the ends of the world until I get exactly what I am looking for. Call it enthusiasm or whatever.;)
