And as a buyer who's paying a premium for the FFR's side-oiler, this thread at least flushed out the fact that the block is ribbed, which someone said means it's an OTC block, not a production block that came from car. I haven't looked lately, but I'm willing to bet that the 1965-1968 side-oiler blocks are worth a great deal more than an OTC block from the early 70's.
