No, I asked why he stuck his neck out with a basically unknown builder when there are several sure-thing options, and then pointed out KMS, SPF, ERA, FFR, to name a few. How was that anything but good advice?

Yes, buying a $100,000 bare bones roller is good advice, when your brain is operating in a vacuum. So, it seemed awfully presumptuous to me that the OP, who wanted to build and race his Cobra, and ordered a RU Crafters Cobra, was intending on dropping a $100,000 on a bare bones Kirkham roller in the first place. But hey, that's just me.
