Remember that you have a Ford crankshaft. Some of the alignment tools for 26 spline driven disks won't fit as nicely as you would like. |

A clutch alignment tool that fits a 26 spline driven disk, but that also fits in to the back of a Ford crankshaft. I think my local club loans out one made by Mike Forte. Surely they are more available now than over a decade ago, which was the last time I even thought about it. For all I know, you can get them at Autozone, but at least now you are aware of the issue and you're probably thinking "dang, why didn't I think of that?" |

And you probably need the special spacer that goes between your TKO and the block. If you need it, and you don't use it, you'll do a real number on your engine because the nose of the transmission shaft will bottom out on the crank and try and shove it out the front of your car.  |

Alright, but it is between the the transmission and the block, just not right up against the block. |
