But he doesn't have a big shiny helmet now???

I know where the he!! Leicester is--didn't know if "Leics" was an abbreviation or something else again. Don't know if we're coming over yet--if we do, we'll be the ones pounding on your door in the middle of the night. How do your neighbors feel about you? Impromptu Poll: We were in London last year. Should we 1. Go back and drive from London to Edinborough for a week and see what else is over there? All my girls seem ok with this, but we were there last year. 2. Go to Paris and vicinity, or possibly Paris-Low Countries and back from Amsterdam? Seems like a waste to be in Amsterdam with one's wife. One daughter doesn't like this because she's taking French and is sick of the whole dam* country. I just want to drive a rental on part of the Le Mans circuit. 3. Go to NYC? Can do this in the future. Trying to get the kids to see other countries before they fly from the nest. But NYC has a certain appeal these days for obvious reasons. 4. Go to Washington D.C.? One daughter absolutely hates the idea because she's in American History and is tired of it. (Remember--these are kids; they are not human) My idea of driving to Yellowstone, Rushmore, etc. went out the window when I found out Yogi's digs are closed during Easter (stupid freeking morons). Italy is too much to see in one week, and Rome during Easter sounds like one big crowd. I'm getting older and I want to travel with the girls while we all can. The oldest can't make the trip (UC's on quarters--different break). I'm really at a loss--help me boys. |
It is totally obvious to me what you shoud do.
Take the money and................. BUILD A REAL ENGINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D |
&^^%%$*)()(**&%@#@#$%%%%%%^^^^&&&&&&&&^^%^%^^^@$$hole!!!!!:mad:
Like I'd have that choice. |
BTW, never knew you had a thing for cops--offering yourself up and all like that in public.
|
ERA535 has a thing for men in uniform!
Jeff mised his chance. So close, yet so far. TURK ps. The cop kept on saying...Sir you don't have to bend over that much. He wouldn't listen.. |
Jamo - my neighbours feel OK about me, now they have taped all their windows up to stop them shattering every time I start the car up. It's YOU they are worried about. The residents committee has been on my back all day. From that pespective, your visiting someplace else looks good.
I'm not voting - you have to take the fall for this with your family!!When you have decided which part of the globe you wish to descend upon, let me know. Wilf |
I would guess he was also saying "please don't keep backing up sir" and "I'm sorry sir--only one frisk is necessary".
|
Your neighbour's windows shaking could mean one of two things..
a-They have very old termite riddled frames around the glass. b-You have yet to install the exhaust system on your car. May I remind you, you have a small block..... Windows rattling! Yeah right. Whatever! TURK |
Wilf
You will just KNOW when I'm there--I'm leaning towards your part of the world. I barely got to drive your roads last time; feels like something was left unfinished. |
You sure the cop wasn't saying "Sorry Sir, full body cavity searches aren't normal procedure for traffic violations"
Wilf |
Turk - I do understand your need to own at least something BIG. I guess it makes up for other things. And my little block engine is necessary to be able to turn the car within the boundaries of the UK.
Wilf |
It was a little embarressing when ERA535 insited on taking his clothes off, suggesting he was due for a medical exam. Cop had a hell of a time convincing him that he was not a doctor, that this was merely a traffic stop.
Good thing in all this, I should be able to drive that route whenever without any fear of being flagged again. TURK |
Wilf
How right you are. I looked around high and low...I said to myself, "Self.. everything I have and own is big, why not a big block to stay in character". Hence the BIG BLOCK. Only thing that is small around here would be my ego!:3DSMILE: :3DSMILE: TURK |
TURK:
I am speechless. You were so nice to me yesterday! I bought you lunch, worked on your car, made you some linkage for your carbs, and now this!!! Everything Jeb says about him is true, folks. JAMO: I was just trying to be helpful! Sheeesh! :3DSMILE: (I am just practicing my Jeckyll and Evan personality) |
ERA
Actually--I quoted you to my wife--those were her remarks. |
ERA"spread'em" - for a newbie like my goodself, what exactly is that that "Jeb" says about Turk? Would it extend my understanding of a psyche that needs to be surrounded by BIG things?
Wilf |
Kind of.
You see Jeb is this little tight-ass who felt the need to make sure that the K.I.S.S members behaved themselves at the Kirkhams. Then he sent TURK a message telling him that he should care more about his wife. In each case he got the bull by the a$$. :3DSMILE: It is one of the few ways I can think of needling Turk. |
Thank you master - Grasshopper is enlightened, however, I am going to leave Turks wife out of it. Any woman who puts up with him deserves a citation, not poking fun at! Plus I saw his picture of all his car parts laid out in what looked like his living room - even MY wife would not put up with that!
Wilf |
Wilf ole boy,
When you are slave to metric system you do loose perspective of things big and small. When we say "10" it usually inches we are measuring not centimeteres. I too was corrupted with such a standard while I was GROWING up! TURK |
