Fartbrains, hang on Jamo, throwing insults is exclusively the domain of we Aussies.

Lighten up Turk, in case you thought that size doesn't count, get a load of this. You'll see how insignificant the British are and almost as meaningless Texas is, despite the bloated impression that the world has become used to of the Lonely Star state.

As for Aussie Mike, when he sees this map , he'll just cringe when thinking about the miniscule impression that his state makes. Yes Mike, it's all about quantity, forget about quality, noone ever got rich doing a good job.

I rest my case ahead of the onslaught.

Dave Samson 02-06-2002 08:23 PM

Wilf,

In future please use soluble staples or supply me with tooth picks before sending any garments downunder.

Jamo 02-06-2002 08:34 PM

Time for you boys in Rooland to decide who all is going to spend time with Amy's little nasties, and for the Stateside folks to start forming a line...who's gonna be first: disgusting perverts in New Joisey, dem armadillo rustlers in the Land of Bush, maybe Brent would like to take them sailing...:3DSMILE:

ERA535 02-06-2002 10:36 PM

Fartbrains?

Hey Jamo - did you hear they finally figured out where lawyers came from? Bvtt-fvcking.

I just got back from a Cobra ride down to Sacramento - had the River City Region Shelby Club monthly meeting. Interesting - Pete Cala found a speaker - a driver from the past who used to race GT40's. Woody Harris. It was fun.

Then I come home to fartbrain comment.

Hey ERE535,

Could this possibly be your average lawyer ?

ERA535 02-06-2002 11:28 PM

Can you somehow make that Jamo's new avatar? You know, hack in and make it permanent? I'll pay!

Classic

Dave Samson 02-06-2002 11:38 PM

Wish I could but then his wife may prefer it to their wedding photo and then you know will happen. He'll want to have a miniature bronze bust made to replace the Cobra emblem on his forehead.

wilf leek 02-07-2002 09:42 AM

You boys are so vulgar - I take a day out to set out the stripes on my car and return to what???

Fartbrains??????
Bvtt Fvcking?????????
Lawyer baiting????????
Sizeist remarks?????????????

(Actually I rather liked the fartbrains one.)

Well, it just goes to show what happens when former colonies are allowed to develop their own "culture" (or what passes for one) instead of staying aligned with us refined originals in the mother of democracies. And I doubt the Queen is happy with you at all. In fact he told me so.

What you all need is a term or two at finishing school, like wot I dun.

Wilf

Turk 02-07-2002 09:56 AM

PLEEEEAAAZZEEEEEEE!!

Give US a break!
I hope you don't try that Colony Crap at the DVSFII, I know at least three drunks that will make your life miserable to the point you would be sorry that you showed up!

Actually they are not drunk yet, but most assuredly will be. They started drinking already because they are running out of time. Only 4 months left to the event.

TURK

wilf leek 02-07-2002 11:39 AM

Turk - I had to resort to shock tactics only because of the depths this thread was plumbing. You boys are so naughty.
The Colony thing will not be mentioned at DVSFII, excepting only that the great windbreaker keeps a cork in it. Besides which, it's a card long played out, there are far funnier things now to poke at.
Is there a prevailing wind in Ohio? I want to make sure I am always upwind, and far enough away so that by the time he sidles up (probably with a big grin on his face - did he smile when he erupted on the KISSA$$ trip?) the worst effects have worn off.

I'm beginning to worry about bringing Lady Leek with me now.

Jamo 02-07-2002 12:19 PM

Geez Dave--that looks more like ERA trying to hold it when we were in the desert (no trees and we all had cameras).

Wilf
Don't let us scare you--we are quite mild-mannered:JEKYLHYDE As for being "upwind" of ERA, it doesn't matter--Ohio's farm-animal country--he'll blend right in.

Turk 02-07-2002 12:52 PM

You guys are so foul!!

TURK

wilf leek 02-07-2002 01:41 PM

Oh - so NOW you agree with me??? Flibbertigibbet!

Wilf

Turk 02-07-2002 01:56 PM

I agree that THEY are foul, I was not including myself in the group.

I am NOT one of them, am I?

TURK

wilf leek 02-07-2002 02:04 PM

One of which???

Turk - I think I will prefer to remain sufficiently ignorant of the subject to be unable to tell if you were one of them or not. Is it a feature of "being one of them" when you find yourself unable to use both hands to drive? Does this keep one hand potentially free for "other duties"??

Wilf :3DSMILE:

Jamo 02-07-2002 02:22 PM

The English...oh how they play politics....

Turk 02-07-2002 02:31 PM

Jamo
Quit picking on our guest!

After all he just declared his ability to remain "sufficiently ignorant". What else you want , man? Why kick a man when he is down?

Enjoy it, it doesnt last long. When an Englishman shows some humility cherish it. It doesn't happen as often as it ought to .

Pretty soon you'll get him all leathered up for a discussion on how football is not football, and soccer this and that.

Next thing you know, they'll want Cyprus back.
Leave him alone!

Hello Wilf!

TURK

wilf leek 02-07-2002 02:38 PM

Jamo - we need to be good at something, just look at our cricket team, and we invented the game?????

Turk - I am pleased at your interpretation of my last message. Now I know that subtlety is lost on you. Please note that the word ability was never used - I expressed a preference only. That was me being polite, as a well brought up gentleman should be.

Wilf

PS -I just noticed something - this forum purports to use GMT, yet, as far as I know, (mainly since it has become dark outside) the GMT I live by is currently 9.38 pm. This only came to my notice because I was trying to work out whether you people should be working right now!

Jamo 02-07-2002 09:38 PM

Wilf
Time as we know it does not exist at this site--far as I know, nobody lives in whatever time zone is being used. I have a sneaking suspicion it's "Brent Time"--whatever he wants it to be, it is. He never sleeps.

wilf leek 02-08-2002 06:22 AM

Jamo - I think the light dawns - none of this is real, just a dreamland.

BTW - love your new avatar, but have one question - Is that pretty little sheep running towards or away from you??

Wilf
