CSX 4000 Series Brake Upgrade
I'm just finishing a somewhat involved big brake upgrade for my CSX 4000 Series. All new Baer 4-piston calipers and big rotors with Wilwood parking brakes. This setup just BARELY fit my 15" wheels!
Took some trial and error to get where I am now for the park brake solution and still have a little more to do to complete them.
I put the pics in an album under my name here:

Boy that is a tight fit! Reminds me of when I went to instal the Girling calipers on the FIA, had to grind down the ends to make them fit inside the wheels. It was a slow process, did not want to take too much off, so it was a lot of fit the caliper on, rotate the wheel and look for the contact spot, take it offf and start over again.
This should work real well for you. Now all you have to worry about is bouncing your head off the steering wheel if you hit the brakes too hard.

I have a Jig made up to make the screens that fit a Superformance MKIII.
You have dimensions of your screens or the opening in the body

Hi Michael. Great job on the brake installation.
I am contemplating a similar upgrade.
Can you tell us the Baer caliper and bracket part number, Wilwood e-brake caliper and bracket part number and rotor dia/thickness.

Hi again Michael Just curious.
Looks like you used the same hand (right hand or left hand) e-brake caliper on each side as on one the cable is pointing up and on the other the cable is pointing down.
Any particular reason?

Good call Greg! Yes, that's where I am at right now with the p-brakes. I have left and a right actuators. They mount to a 3-hole boss that on the actual caliper, so you can clock it to 1 of 3 locations, whichever works best. Then I am trying swapping L and R sides to see which setup is going to be best for the handbrake cable routing. Still in that process.
As for all the part numbers from Baer and Wilwood, I plan to post everything once I am sure it all works. The Baer rotor / caliper setup is actually made for spindles on early CSX 4000 series cars that are NOT HiTech or HST according to the Baer Racing folks.
Everything was pretty straight forward except for the park brake setup which was integrated in the old brake calipers. For that, I made the aluminum brackets that you see in the pics. I had them cut out of 3/8" alum with a waterjet, so I have access to the .DXF file for them.

Another quick question Michael. You show two pics of the upright assembly: one of the upright mounted in the wheel and one with the upright bench mounted.
Which is the left (drivers side) and which is the right (passenger side)?
