foot sensitivity

I have an old pair of leather shoes in the tennis style. My right leg was made 3/4" longer when my hip was replaced so I drive autocross in a lifted left shoe. I had to grind off the sides of the shoes to keep them from catching each other.

I'd race in Wrestling shoes if not for the lift.

I have driven in stocking feet a couple of times when I forgot my driving shoes. I taped cardboard to the ball of my foot....it worked all right.

I have also made custom alterations to my pedals (in the VSE Cobra) and in both my FF cars.
