Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference between Dupuytren's and "trigger finger" which I had and affected my ring finger and now my middle finger on the same hand. Steroids worked for a while on the ring finger but after the second time the hand dr did the surgery. She described it as "putting the rope back in the pulley. The middle finger has largely fixed itself (ie, the "trigger" part is reduced but I still can't lay my hand flat but there is no pain when making a fist so I have skipped the dr. so far. I've accepted the fact that like the engine in my 60's car that parts wear out and unfortunately, doctors haven't perfected a rebuild on the human body (yet).

My CR came home today! Very happy with the color.
Have to remount the hood hinge.
Now starts the reassembly. Also, the wheels have to go. I will get tires on my 5 pin knock off Cobra II wheels.

Interesting day! Car back in my garage and we have a tornado touch down 5 miles from here!
Are the "powers that be" trying to tell me something?

Thanks Paul. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. My body shop guy had painted my 67 Mustang coupe a few years back. James is a young guy that had just opened his own shop. Has since become like a nephew to me.
He fell in love with the Mustang. Sometimes I think it was because it was a California car without the rust problems.
When he found out I was thinking about selling it, we struck a deal that he would give me half of what I wanted in cash and the other half would be for painting the Cobra.
He was losing his lease and shop space around here is about impossible to find without starting new. And because this area is recently slammed with people from Illinois building multi-million dollars homes, contractors are not even available to build out a shop.
So he emptied his shop of all projects and spent 6 weeks almost entirely on the Cobra. I think he was working about 60 hrs a week on it to get it "just right". He even covered the cost of the tow truck to bring it to the house. After he delivered it yesterday, he had to go back to the shop one last time to move the rest of his shop tools out. I felt sad for him, but he has 2 offers from custom shops in the area without even looking around. He is know for the quality of his work and his hard, honest way of doing things. Impressive for a 35 yr old with 14 yrs experience!
Now, he wants to help me finish assemble it. Said he is "taking the next month off to relax" and can be here next week in my garage. I think he's afraid I will scratch the finish!

Well, a slight mishap during the reassembly. I had installed the windshield. It was a bit tight in the center of the cowl, gap on the sides. I am sure the mold just varied and the curve a bit too much. As I started to attache the side wings, I made sure the screws were not too long. Started on the visors, checked again the the 1st 2 holes are clear. Did not check the 3rd hole, "CRACK". It appeared the glass had been forced to the top of the frame on the passenger's side and the screw just nicked it.
Then, to add to the bad week, 2 days later we fly to California to visit the kids for the 1st time since last summer. My wife complains the next day after we arrive that she does not feel well. We go to a nearby outpatient clinic- they test her and she is positive for Covid! Two days later, I have it as well.We cannot figure out who we got it from, no one we had contact with in the last 10 days had any symptoms.
Luckily, we were to stay at some friends guest house. So we have quarantined and can now travel home soon as we can get a flight back. But, we did not get to see our kids or friends as intended.
This has been an expensive and disappointing month!
I am just afraid of the old "bad luck comes in threes"!
