Tom, wow! What an opportunity. I’m just a little envious.

Makes me go all philosophical …..what is the most value when talking Cobras?

Easy answer is which car is worth the most in cold, hard cash, and agreed, CSX2000 would be at the top of the tree.
If the value of a Cobra is determined by the car that was the most significant contributor to winning the World Sportscar Championship for Shelby in 1965, it’s CSX2345

Take your camera, Tom.

Cheers!
Glen

Thank you Glen & Ed. Steve wanted to share a special thank you to Peter & Glen for their votes for CSX2345 I feel very honored to call Steve a friend, as we say He cares for his Cobra as much as I care for mine, Doesn't matter if one of ours is not a not real one We spent over a hour on the phone trying to figure out which car Ken drove @ Kent. We know which ones he didn't. In fact that 8mm film has it wrong, Dave don't win (with CSX2128), (Bob drove CSX2128) Bob won, here's the race results. We should know by Friday, Which Car Ken drove. Steve is having lunch with another historian. Cheers TommyRot. https://www.racingsportscars.com/res...963-07-21.html

I heard that at the Shelby American factory in Vegas. IDK if it’s true or not but it sounds like a solid source.

Sorry, no, it's a fallacy, induced by those who have no clue and are just trying to make the story live on. Just like the "found" CSX3000 chassis's just rusting away behind a barn in Texas that CS "found".

Smart enough to buy a vintage Shelby, but yet still gullible enough to fall for the lie.

Just got a Email back from Steve (Volk) we can now confirm all 3-Cobra @ Kent that weekend were CSX 2127,28, and 29 (Sebring Cars) Since we know Bob drove 2128, Ken would have driven CSX2129. If you read this Steve (he does check us out, every so often) Thank you for doing your Homework The Org. Body for CSX218 is hanging on the wall at the Museum, thanks for the picture Steve. I didn't post it here because it has his personal info there too ? Cheers TommyRot.
