agro1 - I'm sure that you couldn't care less about other people's opinion of your color choice. Also, I did check on your pictures but really couldn't tell exactly what color your car was. It looked kind of purple, or something like that, and I was wondering why you thought that was the best color to paint a Cobra, assuming that you had your car painted and didn't buy it used with that color already on it. You certainly had several reasons that orange was not a fitting color for a Cobra. It's interesting that you describe it as the color that won LeMans. Apparently you believe that you have reproduced the color of the Cobras that were raced there. As I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, but the blue color that Shelby painted his cars never had a code or particular formula, but was mixed as needed by the painter from blue paint that he had on hand at any given time, therefore it is impossible to replicate. So, your reasoning may be inaccurate, but you like your color for your own reasons, and that is what is important, just as every other Cobra owner's reason for picking their color is important to them. What you don't seem to understand is that you go beyond expressing a negative opinion about the original question. When you disparage someone's self-image based on the color of their car, or make some stereotypical comment based on the type of car they drive or how it looks, it says volumes about your integrity and character.

I doubt seriously that you will understand my message here. I expect you will respond with some kind of personal attack, so have at it. Considering the source, it will speak for itself. Try very hard, please, to understand one small thing. All of your fellow members of Club Cobra love Cobras, which is what brings us together here. Those who have a Cobra particularly love their own, just as you do yours. You may not agree with the choices other owner's make about their Cobras, which is certainly your right. It would be very dull if all Cobras were exactly alike. However, when you not only criticize someone's choices, but attack their character, you will find yourself very unpopular on this forum. I hope that matters to you.

By the way, your Cobra is very nice. It's different from what mine will be, but it is still very nice.

Bumpster

I never really thought about an orange Cobra until now. Hmmmm...very interesting, that color can work nicely. Myself? I'm sold on the classic look of red with a white stripe, no imagination I guess.

Bumpster - I'm so sorry you feel my character is lacking, I would really hate for you to think that I am void of moral fibre, or childish in any way, shape or, um length....

I'd prove your point, but will let my silence speak for itself. Lightin' up will ya, go do a burnout or something...
