Getting a discount depends on your negotiating skill and the amount of sales the manufacturer has at the time you negotiate. FFR just offered a $1000 discount on their kit but now that sales are up they are pretty firm on their price. I bought from Randy Hunter and he is willing to make a few concessions on his kit depending on how much you buy at once. His website is offering a free aluminum fuel tank right now and he may negotiate shipping if you ask.

That being said you need to figure out what car you want and what you want to put into the car as far as suspension, motor, interior etc.
