The postings have listed a good number of alternatives. Believe the next step is to decide upon an approach to mix the traditional such as AutoWeek, Car & Driver, Road & Track etc with other events, places, publications,media such as:

* Race Tracks: Watkins Glenn, Road Atlanta ( forgot the new name ) etc
* SCCA
* Articles in Business Week, Fortune,
WSJ, NY Sunday Times, Time, Parade......national exposure via press releases
* Speed Channel/Vision
* ESPN
* Pace Car at a NASCAR road course event, next week at Watkins Glenn
* Google, AOL, Yahoo
* Exhibits at the premier auto shows, Pebble Beach, Amelia Island

etc...............
