I understand that a large number of people pass on black because they are so concerned about upkeep. However...I can tell you first hand that black when done correctly gives a Cobra a serious.... almost sinister look that no other color can achieve. I have simply lost track of the number of compliments I have received on my cars paint job over the years. I also like the fact that you simply don't see it as often on Cobras as other colors. It helps makes the car stand out a little more in my opinion.

I've had many black cars over the years and loved 'em all. When the discussion came up as to what color to have my SPF painted, was a hard choice. As much as I wanted black with a dark gray stripe, I went with Indigo Blue and titanium stripes. If and when I get a new Cobra or do a repaint, I'll be black for sure.

I love the look of the black cars and yes they are harder to keep up. Mine aren't trailer queens, I use them! I just reconcile myself to the fact that it's they are ten footers ..... they look great from ten feet! Check em out.

The # 12 car was Turk's ERA before he developed aluminum envy!

Default No trailer

But I love my black anyway, two years old and still looks good, never skip a run worrying about getting it dirty, just clean it when finished.

How do I get this to be a more manageable size???
