Right sidestering to left sidestering

I'm from Denmark and has my heart is set for a used Dax cobra, but the downside is that the steringwheel is in the wrong place.

Is it difficult to change it to a left sidestering wheel?

Like you have in the States.

And do you the cost approx. ?

Hi,
There are a number of things to change.
- change to a mustang steering rack- weld on new brackets
- move the brake pedal and master cylinder over to the other side,new brackets and brake lines
- move the clutch brackets and master cylinder or cable to the other side.
- move the steering wheel and new brackets to the other side.
- move the gauges to the left side also.
Then once it's all done you would probably have to get the car safety inspected.

No big deal ,probably a few grand ,depending on who did the work.

Also, the gas pedal linkage would have to shift over to the left side which is doable. You would need a new left side dashboard which, depending upon the wiring harness could be easy or could require a few extension wires to reach the new location of the gauges.

...and for most cars the foot boxes are different side to side (at least they are in an ERA). The "off" side foot box is smaller ie narrower and not as tall (so that the battery can sit on it).
