A pic is worth a thousand words...

Perhaps this will explain the 1.19 0-60ft time. Here we have your classic 'ringer'.

Glad you posted the picture of Colin's car Ernie. Those who have followed
his progress wouldn't bat an eye at his times. Bill, da bugga goes like stink!

I love the flames too. As if the car is really on fire. The absolute best flame paint job in the universe. WE NEED SOME NEW PICS OF DA FLAMES!

Smile 0 to 60

A couple of years ago, maybe 3 Mike Lane's FFR did a few 0-60s before he pulled the 5.0 EFI mild build motor (maybe 325 350 fwhp). Times were 4.9 seconds, but he had a hard top on, 70 lb. of junk in the trunk, 180 passenger and it was Jan. The next day he installed a 408W. He never tried to time it. Sold that car and build a Cobra with a KC 461. He said his next Cobra will have a 408W.

I have Roush 427R-095 in my SPF, but have added about 70 or so wheel HP over that of how it was delivered. It's about 475 corrected wheel HP on a Dynojet.

Given
DA around 500 ft
60 ft time around 1.8 seconds easy start without spin after rolling
normal city roadway with unheated drag radials.
0 - 60 mph in the high 2 second range
0 - 100 mph is in the low 6 second range
0 - 130 mph is about 10 flat

Higher DA makes the times slower.
Lower DA makes the times faster.
