With so many divisions within the Shelby companies I'm surprised they don't have a singlular 'spokes person' to consolidate their position. I'm guessing most have now been told to keep quiet, quit posting and make no 'official' public statements.

So is all this commotion good for the mid-america meet.... or is it bad? I guarantee you will see flocks and flocks of S197 cars, but how many of vintage stature?

I may make them bigger than they wanted to be.
It has always been a great All-Ford Performance event...new and old.

so who do you think is going to be next in shelby's greedy gun sights ? who do you think, "club cobra", "cobra country", etc (anything shelby vehicles related)........he's not going to stop until he has it all ! there will not be a website, forum, on-line club or any other shelby vehicle related club other than "team shelby" ! as far as i can tell amy b. was just like the japanese diplomats calling on the president telling him there will be no war just as the planes were leaving the deck of the carriers (sorry, i did not mean this to insult anyone, just the best comparison i can come up with at this time) ! i see our particular interest as a group (clubs, functions,etc...) being compromised by this greedy old a$$hole !

I'm thinking it's going to be a cluster in Tulsa unless they can come up with a lot more room for the people and cars........Last time I was there, both people and cars were overflowing the area they had, can't see where they are going to put anymore......the attendence by the new gen. Shelby Mustangs should add greatly to the attendance.....
Mid America has been about ALL Shelby Mustangs and Cobras, and Sallens/Roush and other "specialty" Ford cars, seems there are a lot more late model Mustangs every year and attendance has been growing, which is a good thing.....but they are quickly running out of room...............
BTW: almost to 50 pages!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I must have missed something, and I am reading along daily. What might Amy be guilty, or not guilty of at Hot Wheels? This thread could live for an eternity at this rate!

This is a post on the SAAC forum regarding Amy and how she allegedly dealt with some of the Hot Wheels car clubs while she was working there.

Looks like I may have to get a new avatar.
I should have read the fine print on the cover of that book. Then I would have known he was interested in the law even back then.

Here we are at 50 pages - that was quick. Any guesses how far this will go?
I can only hope that somehow a bit of sanity comes to this event, for all
concerned. I'm afraid to guess how low can it go. Got my fingers crossed.

It wouldn't surprise me to see him start cracking down other enthusiast clubs such as this one. Does Club Cobra have licensing to use the cobra emblem on the site? He WILL be out to stop any and all that is not his.

Saac Vs Us
This May Seem Far Fetched But I Would Be Careful Taking My Car To One Of These Events. It Would Not Surprise Me The Least For Him And His Legal Manipulators To Show Up And Have Cars Impounded As Evedince! I Am Not Trying To Be Funny About This!

I've taken a blowtorch to the numerous snake tatoos found on various parts of my anatomy! You can't be too careful any more and I'd hate my butt to part of a lawsuit....

When you consider the far reaching ramifications, a 50 page thread doesn't seem quite so outrageous, does it?

I believe a court order is needed to impound cars as evidence in a court case unless they're illegally parked of course.

Oh come on now, I think impounding cars is about as likely as a mob gathering in the center of the race track with torches.
...we meet in the parking lot outside the track...
