Default Shortened 8.8" IRS Axles
Can anyone suggest a good place to buy shortened IRS axles for the 8,8" T-bird SC rears. I need a pair that are shortened 1" to fit in the IRS of my RUCC. Roger had said to cut and weld them, (I don't think so) Who does good custom axles for the 8.8' IRS Ford rear?

Send your axles to Dutchman Motorsports Inc. and have them shortened. They do great work and fast turnaround at a very fair price.

Check out their website. When I had mine done last year, it was $84 per pair plus $10 per cut for the retaining rings. You'll need to ship your tripods along with the axles so they can get a good fit on the new splines.
