WOW...power steering may be overkill on a 2200 lb car! If you look at my pics, you'll see that I will add ANY bell & whistle to mine (BLUSH...I even added electric door poppers to save having those ugly little handles!!!...LOL) , but I have NEVER felt the need for power steering or brakes!

The first time I ever got into a Cobra with Dave Dralle as a passenger, he opened the driver's door, looked in and saw that there were floor mats in the car. He reached in, took them out, and THREW them across his parking lot as he yelled at me, "Those !@#$% will kill you!"
We then went out on Willow and he scared the hell out of me. At that moment I knew I could never be that good.

Kirkhams have the floor carpet sections held in place with lift snaps...I had a rubber heel pad sewn in on the driver's side. Also a nice feature to have after running in the rain.

Tugboat
I went to that site and ordered a set of clips. At the checkout, the shipping was no charge. Some sort of deal going on but they are on their way with no shipping cost.

Jamo, I thought you had the heel plate installed so you won't damage your high-heels..........

I removed my floor mats and set in the drop foot box a piece black aluminum diamond plate. Not even noticeable. No mat for the passenger. How many miles do most of you put on your cars. What is the point?
I can't stand floor mats even in my everyday cars and trucks.
Sister-in-law gave me a set of those heavy weather mats for my F250 Diesel and they hung up the accelerator pedal at full throttle.
When I got home I through them in the trash.
It was a fun ride on the back road I was on but at least I have a lot of room to pull the mat back. In the Cobra, no way!

Hawaiian style tip:
Don't drive your Cobra with flip flops either, they get hung up between the brake and the gas.
Aloha shirts are OK.

That's why I put my flip flops behind my seat and drive bare footed.

No way brah! But there is one guy here who put under car lighting
on his Cobra and has a custom color surfboard to match his to stick in the
seat - doesn't use it for surfing, just show. Go figure. No Spam for me!

That surf board is cool, red with white stripes and a Cobra emblem, matches the car.
...I love Spam, had some this morning for breakfast.

Tony,
The Cobra with the lights and surf board is NOT Ernie''s!
Definitely not mine either.
I like spam with eggs and rice for breakfast now and then but that's about
it for Spam for me.
