WOW!! 14 pages of posts in one day and still going...
Hey Lewis if you spent this much time getting this deal sealed you probably wouldn't of had to start this thread, spend the day on the computer, and look like an ass in the end. Sorry for your loss. I'm going dedicate my drive in my car (that I paid for in full and on time) to you and your loss ...there I feel better.

WOW
Thanks LEWIS. I haven't had this much entertainment in a Buffo's age.
I just logged in and read the whole thread. I have to admit - you are a work
of art - I'm not sure what kind - but definitely different. I fail to see, since
you have been "in business" for 20+? years that you know so little about it.
When you make a deal, you should realize you should stick to it, period.
You made the deal, you broke it, you suffer the consequences. Don't blame
others - you have 3 fingers pointing back at you where you are feebly trying
to point one at JBo.
Now your responses to various individuals here are comical at best.
You are doing pretty well for a third grader - enjoy the ride.
I just want to say thank you for providing some interesting entertainment.
I hope you don't represent the typical Australian, Somehow I am sure you
don't.
Have a great day mate - and grow up.

You're digging your own grave Lewis. You've lost and it's no ones fault but your own.

Popcorn, popcorn, get yer popcorn here. Extra large JUMBO bag for $5000 dollars, payable within 30 days.
Vote is currently about 5 billion to 2. Time to shoot the horse. Anyone that has sold 12 billion expensive watches and HUNDREDS of nice cars, and CANNOT come up with a measly $70K in a month has really got a problem.
Alzheimer's disease anyone. Brain fart? Senior moment? Did anyone mention SCAM?
Time to go to sleep. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time. What the hell, popcorn is free to everyone ( north of the equator only).

Got to admit it was a fun read. Props to Jamo for letting it run! Only conclusions I can draw:
1. I need to watch Family Dad (or whatever the f its called)
2. Lewis doesn't like reading contracts..even ones he wrote
3. Lewis definitely doesn't play well with others. I think he needs a time out!
4. Lewis has no idea what a redneck is
5. Jbo won, hands down.
We really need to set up a fight forum. This was way too much fun to read.

Well, I'm not going to buy into the Lewis debate. Don't know the fella, never met him, and for what it's worth, I live at the other end of the continent.
However, I very much do take offense at some of the generalizations made about Aussies.
We have hosted quite a few Americans during their visits to Australia. I'm sure those who have enjoyed our hospitality would not agree with the said generalizations.
Sad....very sad....... for such an international site.
Have a great day.

I think that was one guy and was fairly limited. I like Aussies - especially PM Howard. And the Danes - especially the cheese ones.

I guess I know about a dozen or so Aussies, and I really like them, every one of them I have met! But as I don't really know EVERY POM, I guess Luigi has skewed the mix!
Gee, his watch websit(e) has a lot of pictures on it that also appear on the official sites of the manufacturers, the same manufacturers that his site admits he is not an "authorized dealer" for. Perhaps they might not like his use of THEIR trademarked photos?
Lewis/Luigi, you need not worry about me becoming a customer for your fine watches, I currently have a Timex on my wrist and a Bulova in my drawer. While I appreciate and repect the quality and panache that your watches have, I'm just not a "fine watch" kinda guy. Guess that must make me a "redneck loser" who runs around some guy's legs going "yes, boss!!!!"
Honestly, I have never seen someone so reluctant to take the offered suggestion to quit while he's ahead, he seems to revel in digging his hole deeper and deeper. Perhaps he just does not understand the tone of the replies he is receiving and fully expects to get sympathy and closure here. Perhaps from Jamo?
I have seen all of the emails from both sides and Lewis should be glad JBo has NOT posted them, the communications from his side are NOT pretty!

A Black Knight (cue Monty Python's Holy Grail) performance, no less.
Thankyou Jamo for not skewering our knight at the outset of this magnificent joust.

And on that note
Our first contestant is a middle aged gentleman from Melbourne Australia who states he is not an automobile broker, but continues to flaunt the laws of the Austrralian government by illegally importing cars for resale without a the proper license, he makes offers on cars not for sale, agrees on a contract, wires a deposit, fails to follow the contract in which he agreed, then comes on to a public access forum and whines about the deal going south and him being out the deposit money which he agreed to send to hold the car for 30 days.
Edit More Monty Python induced jabber:
And the Lord spake, saying, 'First shalt thou make an offer for a car that is not for sale. Then, shalt thou pay for said car on a daily count of thirty. No more. No less. Thirty shalt be the number thou shalt have to pay for the car in full, and the number of the counting shall be thirty. Forty shalt thou not count, nor either count thou twenty unless funds are available at that time, excepting that thou then proceed to thirty. Fifty is right out and you have now lost your $5,000 deposit due to a lack of performance. Once the number thirty, being the 30th number, be reached, then, the seller shall lobbest thy contract for purchase of an AC MKIV towards thy wannabe buyer in disgust, who, being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it.'
