Thumbs up Holy Crapola Batman!!!

I just read this entire thread and I must say (at the expense of Lew-Ass), a most enjoyable thread indeed!

Highlights I find interesting....

1) Lew-Ass is NOT a car dealer, but has tons of cars for sale on his website.

2) Lew-Ass tries to be cute stating he has bought 20+ cars from the US and brags he has $400,000. Well then losing $5K should be a drop in the bucket and not missed, right? Crikey!

3) As a watch/car dealer/collector, Lew-Ass can sleep soundly at night after looking repeatedly at that $5K debit in his bank account and know he got nothing in return because of his screwup.

4) Let's face it, Lew-Ass though he could take advantage of a Jersey Boy. FAGHEDDABOUDIT!!!!! Yer $5K is already hard at work at the Jersey Shore!!! I hope JBo buys something nice for the wifey with the money.

5) The best part of all this situation, is it is now documented and archived here on Club Cobra for all to see! Anyone doing business with Lew-Ass can be forwarded this thread and be shown Lew-Ass's true colors. You tried to manipulate this crowd and just had yer Aussie Ass handed to you.

As for your childish 12 year old comments, I'll save you the trouble in responding by stating:

1) Yes, I don't have a life with over 5K posts....but I do have a couple of cars that I correctly negotiated the terms on and enjoy regularly.

2) I prefer watching the 'clock like' movement of Jamo's ass as he hoists his pitard from his aruminum Kirkham (swisslike in motion!), tick tock baby!

3) I am not a redneck, but have played on on TV (think of the banjo boy in Deliverance). I married my sister.

4) I am somewhat the collector of watches too, here is my latest acquisition, the Bed Rock Bulova (not too accurate on cloudy days though)....

.....and in closing, I would like to nominate Lew-Ass for the "Ass Clown of the Month" award!!!!

All in favor say Aye!!!!!!!!! I hear ya!!!!

neener...neener! (from one 12 year old to another).

Cobranip - ENCORE indeed ........whadda hoot , great entertainment for a dreary Mich weekend .

Rebel1 - Rest assured, it appears to me that these were not comments directed against Aussies in general, but rather at only one : LewisAK1203 .

Jamo - thanks for keeping this one rolling along , see #1 above .

I am now beginning a campaign here in the UK for Australia to become a Republic, as I don't wish for my Queen to have to represent phukwits like Lewis.............

Now now Wilf, you just behave yaself or next I'm over there I'm gonna pi$$ in the Thames.

Mate, sadly, I suspect we will end up a republic in the not too distant future.....irrespective of folks like Lewis.

Given that we are superior in cricket, rugby and league, it only leaves soccer and the republic to be finalized.

Les, I reckon that'd probably improve the quality of the Thames' water.

I also walk past this Lewis fella's shop a couple of times a week.

Cheers

I gotta wonder if Lewis' kid got a hold of his computer, because it would amaze me that a mature adult would conduct himself in this manner. The guy acts like he's 10. I'm waiting for the "I'm rubber and your glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you" reponse soon.

Maybe Lewis should try posting his gripe on the Gasholes forum. Let's see how that works for him.

Otherwise.....

Damn, lost a post that seems to have disappeared....now found.

Mr Mustang, I have no need to lighten up.....Many have said heaps in this thread much of which involves semantics.

Firstly, Jamo posted a pic which to him was an attempt at humor. He was not to know that the posting of that pic is considered by many Australians as distasteful. Even our television stations have to broadcast a warning if they are going to show images or film of indigenous Australians. It has to do with respect of their dead.

However, to have DOUG I to comment that that that image represents some-one off his meds is of particular distaste. It represents a typical image of a proud indigenous Australian.

As is the comment that much of of the original aussie immigration had its foundation in illegal acts is totally wrong. The convicts exported to Australia were not immigrants. Immigrants came much later and were made up of many just wanting to start a new life or who were offered small fortunes to open the new land. Many were military folks immigrating to support the falling number of prison personnel/authorities as police/prison guards etc.

As to the comment ...."ahhhh the famous aussie way of making friends and influencing people.". I think I'll just let that slip thru to the keeper as it doesn't deserve a response.

Ok...semantics you may say....

Now, there has been several posts regarding reporting the original poster to the Australian Transportation Authorities......Fellas, there is no such department with jurisdiction.

Lastly, a small comment on consumer and contract law as it stands in Australia.

In Australia a deposit is generally considered refundable. Unless there is a written contract defining the 30 days and/or non refundability then in most cases the courts will rule the deposit refundable.

In some cases a judgment will reduce the refund if...and only if the seller can prove a monetary loss because of the actions/inaction/cancellation of the buyer.

In the case of car dealers.....ie purchasing a car from a car dealer. It is very rare for the courts to award a car dealer the retention of a deposit under most circumstances.

So there appears to be a great deal of difference between Australia and American consumer/contract law.

Cheers

Lewis...You are not a good listener, are you.

You made more name-calling posts after I urged you not to..

Now, you get to take a break for a few days.

I thought Lew-Ass said he was leaving and not coming back, I guess he can't follow through on anything he says. As for Australians, I have travelled many times to Australia and have never found an Australian I did not like. I am revisiting that thought now, the tally may be a few thousand to 1.

Mmm think I need to go on meds.

I thouight you guys liked us Aussies..

Hell I'm glad Lewis did not see my 'Post' number. I would have to admit to him, that I was checking gallery photos and rating them again at the airport - a great way to pass the time.

Only problem is it bumps your 'Post' number up each time you rate a photo.
