Cobranip - ENCORE indeed ........whadda hoot , great entertainment for a dreary Mich weekend .
Rebel1 - Rest assured, it appears to me that these were not comments directed against Aussies in general, but rather at only one : LewisAK1203 .
Jamo - thanks for keeping this one rolling along , see #1 above .
please, ENCORE indeed ........Bill.

We have hosted quite a few Americans during their visits to Australia. I'm sure those who have enjoyed our hospitality would not agree with the said generalizations.
Sad....very sad....... for such an international site.
Have a great day.

I think that was one guy and was fairly limited. I like Aussies - especially PM Howard. And the Danes - especially the cheese ones.

I also walk past this Lewis fella's shop a couple of times a week.

Maybe Lewis thought that if he raised enough hell, JBo would give his $5000 back. Not bad for a days work on the computer.
Lewis loser $5000 and a day on the puter and his reputation

Holy Crapola Batman!!!
I just read this entire thread and I must say (at the expense of Lew-Ass), a most enjoyable thread indeed!
Highlights I find interesting....
1) Lew-Ass is NOT a car dealer, but has tons of cars for sale on his website.
2) Lew-Ass tries to be cute stating he has bought 20+ cars from the US and brags he has $400,000. Well then losing $5K should be a drop in the bucket and not missed, right? Crikey!
3) As a watch/car dealer/collector, Lew-Ass can sleep soundly at night after looking repeatedly at that $5K debit in his bank account and know he got nothing in return because of his screwup.
4) Let's face it, Lew-Ass though he could take advantage of a Jersey Boy. FAGHEDDABOUDIT!!!!! Yer $5K is already hard at work at the Jersey Shore!!! I hope JBo buys something nice for the wifey with the money.
5) The best part of all this situation, is it is now documented and archived here on Club Cobra for all to see! Anyone doing business with Lew-Ass can be forwarded this thread and be shown Lew-Ass's true colors. You tried to manipulate this crowd and just had yer Aussie Ass handed to you.
As for your childish 12 year old comments, I'll save you the trouble in responding by stating:
1) Yes, I don't have a life with over 5K posts....but I do have a couple of cars that I correctly negotiated the terms on and enjoy regularly.
2) I prefer watching the 'clock like' movement of Jamo's ass as he hoists his pitard from his aruminum Kirkham (swisslike in motion!), tick tock baby!
3) I am not a redneck, but have played on on TV (think of the banjo boy in Deliverance). I married my sister.
4) I am somewhat the collector of watches too, here is my latest acquisition, the Bed Rock Bulova (not too accurate on cloudy days though)....
.....and in closing, I would like to nominate Lew-Ass for the "Ass Clown of the Month" award!!!!
All in favor say Aye!!!!!!!!! I hear ya!!!!
neener...neener! (from one 12 year old to another).

Does any one else get weekly spam e mails for discount watches?
I never opened one so I don't know who is sending them.

I guess I know about a dozen or so Aussies, and I really like them, every one of them I have met! But as I don't really know EVERY POM, I guess Luigi has skewed the mix!
Gee, his watch websit(e) has a lot of pictures on it that also appear on the official sites of the manufacturers, the same manufacturers that his site admits he is not an "authorized dealer" for. Perhaps they might not like his use of THEIR trademarked photos?
Lewis/Luigi, you need not worry about me becoming a customer for your fine watches, I currently have a Timex on my wrist and a Bulova in my drawer. While I appreciate and repect the quality and panache that your watches have, I'm just not a "fine watch" kinda guy. Guess that must make me a "redneck loser" who runs around some guy's legs going "yes, boss!!!!"
Honestly, I have never seen someone so reluctant to take the offered suggestion to quit while he's ahead, he seems to revel in digging his hole deeper and deeper. Perhaps he just does not understand the tone of the replies he is receiving and fully expects to get sympathy and closure here. Perhaps from Jamo?
I have seen all of the emails from both sides and Lewis should be glad JBo has NOT posted them, the communications from his side are NOT pretty!

I gotta wonder if Lewis' kid got a hold of his computer, because it would amaze me that a mature adult would conduct himself in this manner. The guy acts like he's 10. I'm waiting for the "I'm rubber and your glue, whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you" reponse soon.
Maybe Lewis should try posting his gripe on the Gasholes forum. Let's see how that works for him.
Otherwise.....

BINGO!
(The duck just came down...for you old timers)
Lewis...you are out of line with the name calling, etc.
The envelope has been pushed too far.
I strongly urge you to just walk away from this thread (NOW) and chalk it all up to experience.

Sal,
No, don't ban him.
He is providing a public service, he is alerting people to the need to have proper business dealings. He thought he was agreeved and brought it to this forum. His lack of due diligence (and lack of funds) in the deal and in using this forum (a little surfing of this site would have told him this was NOT the place to yell "FIRE!!!") to attempt revenge has been an instructional help to all our members. To say nothing of entertainment!
He is attempting to verbably joust with Jamo, a master of the rapier, using a broomstick. The results are not in doubt.
The quote "it is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" has never applied more than here. Let him keep hoisting himself................
