It's the same in CT. When I was at DMV, I met a guy named Chris with a very nice FFR Cobra previously titled in Mass. as a '65 Ford Cobra. No dice! The CT. DMV would not even inspect the car before it had a complete title history back to the original owner and MSO. I don't know how he made out, but he wasn't happy.
Buyer beware...if it's titled as a '65 or '66 and it's not real (original), and you're bringing it into CT., you're not gonna get it done. It pays to do it the right way.
