I agree with Tim. I tried it once and with just a very little down angle they blew dust all over the place and I really couldn't notice any lowering of the noise. I just got a set of the small ear plugs over at the shooting range and used those. Illegal in this state, but so is anything you do. And all they did was take the sharpness out of the exhaust. I could still hear other traffic coming as I didn't get the kind that shut out all noise.
