This engine is 450 lbs which maybe 200 lbs lighter than a FE or 302/351 engine. The front coil over's that came with my kit have springs that are rated at 250 lbs, not sure if the rating is high enough for this application. To get the right ride height the coil over's are adjusted as far as they can go. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
250 lbs/in seems pretty light to me. I have a BBF, obviously much heavier (around 250 lbs), but my springs are rated 465 lbs/in. I don't know brand your coilovers are, but QA1 and other manufacturers generally have pretty good technical support to provide guidance on spring rates.

Thanks, I have been planning on contacting either QA1 or Viking once I get the car weighed. I do believe the spring rate is to low. John
