Default A&C header / pipes issue

I've noticed on my A&C kit that my side pipes are pulling away from my headers that slide into them. I've noticed this kit does not allow for any flex in the exhaust system. I thought about welding flanges on the header and the side pipes so when they are slid together, they can be bolted so they don't come a part. The only issue I see is the way the side pipes are mounted to the frame there is no flex for the exhaust to move when the engine is running. I think this will eventually crack the header. Has anyone else with this kit found a better way to hold the side pipes to the headers so they don't come apart and leak, and a better way to mount the side pipes to the frame so there is flex in the exhaust system, so a header won't crack?
