The Bowler trans is a 4R70W Ford AODE transmission. Originally handled 500 ft lbs of torque in the Expedition, but is re-worked to handle more at Bowler. Final drive standard is .70. Here is a brief description: AODE and 4R70W Transmission FAQs - Baumann Electronic Controls, LLC
