Count me in Sunday.
AZ Bob |
More specific address
I would like to attend but, I cannot find a Google listing for Hospice of the Valley at Higley and Broadway which is in Mesa, not Gilbert. We need an address please for a noon gathering.
Thank You AZ Bob |
Mikiec, how big an event do you want to make of this ? I might be able to get few Cobras from Tucson up there on Sunday.
|
I'm sure Candace will chime in with the specific address. I pinged her in email for this as well.
|
Candace just got back with me.
Hospice of the Valley Arbor Home 6063 E Arbor Ave, Mesa AZ 85206 This is scheduled to take place this Sunday the 26th at 12pm in the Parking lot. |
OK guys, here is a mapquest link to the location: MapQuest Maps - Driving Directions - Map
See you there at noon. Perhaps a little PR could make this interesting. AZ Bob |
Count me in too !!!
Mikie, I am sure you have something in the works but want to make sure you have me penciled in, sent you a email @ home. I look forward to our gang making this happen and we can each do our part. Jeff C |
This is what it's all about. Way to go guys - take lots of pics.
|
We will definitely be there. See the gang at noon on Sunday!

I live in the east valley and would love to participate, but I'm racing at FIR on Sunday. If something is arranged for later in the week, please let me know.
|
We be there.
Same place where my mother passed away. |
I mentioned this thread to my GF last night. She literally cried, she was so touched by your gracious efforts to make this individual's dream come true.
Her husband died of colon cancer....when he went into hospice they applied for S/S disability and were denied, S/S told them that he was not sick enough to "not work". He died two days after the denial. Congratulations, guys 'n' gals....great Karma will come your way for paying it forward like this! Cheers!!!! Dugly  |
I have cross posted this to the Cobra Registry forum.
|
You guys are awesome, when good people get together anything is possible.
|
I was involved in a similar effort a few years ago. Take my word for it, it's worth any amount of effort you put into making something like this happen.
(Here's a link to the thread. A long read but, I think, worth the time. The response to the thread was amazing.) http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/all-...ad-please.html Photos, photos, photos. Don't forget to take some of the people as well as the cars. Try to get there as a group. The impact of bunch of Cobras rolling in together is significant. Congratulation to all who have a chance to participate. DonC |
Wish I could be there to assist but I'll be in Prescott for the weekend. Would love to see pictures.
|
Sure wish I could help out with this (i'm in Canada). It sounds like a fantastic thing to do. I salute each and every one of you for doing this. Please post pictures!

Publicity and Press Releases
I have sent a press release about this event to the 5 major local TV stations, Channels 3, 5, 10, 12, and 15 and to the Arizona Republic. This is not news that sells but rather a human interest subject. We will see if any of them decide to pick it up and run with it. We don't need the exposure but the initial request is so inspiring we would all want to share it.
