Hospice does great work. Both of my in-laws and my Grandmother passed away at home with the wonderful support of hospice. If you're not in the AZ area, you might want to send a donation to your local hospice care organization in support of this effort.

Hospice at home is a great wonderful service. My recent interactions showed me a very caring and dedicated group of people. They provided a path for dignity and love. hoorah

They do have a large parking lot but it is usually full. Think we can just park in the way of other cars as I'm sure they won't mind.

A dying wish

Hey guys. I have been in contact with Candace Cowan at the Arbor House in Mesa, and I will be the driver in my Cobra for Mr. Dayton Rinard. Anyone interested in attending this event please call me at 480-860-2899 for details. Thank you for your support. Russ

Russ Beyer 02-24-2012 07:44 AM

You guys are AWESOME !!! Looks like we are going to have a nice group of Cobras for this event. See you all at Basha's at Brown and Higley at 11:30am. Thanks !!! Russ

Ride for Mr. Rinard

Russ...I thought Mr. Rinard would have his choice of Cobras at the Hospice Center?

Candace had two requests out and I believe Russ responded outside of the scope of this request here at CC. I'm certain that Russ can provide a ride and anyone else there can too should Dayton or his wife want that. It's all good.

Joe Wicked 02-24-2012 12:32 PM

This is awesome that you guys are doing this. I have said before that the Cobra Club guys are the best guys I have ever had the privilege of being associated with. I have never been in a car club before with guys of this caliber.

Danr55 02-24-2012 01:37 PM

Ha Ha Ha! Mikie, We've go another one fooled!

Thank Joe.. now try to stay out of trouble. Please!

mikiec 02-24-2012 02:07 PM

Yeah, we do that on a regular basis. LOL.

I'm figuring if the husband wants more than one ride we can take turns zooming him around.

Mike

This is a can't lose event. No matter how many show up or when we show up, we will all leave with a warmed heart and pride in our group. Danr may have another destination for us after this event.
Maybe lunch?
AZ Bob

How about a drag race. Two out of three down Recker road. You know like the old days. Light to light on .25 a gallon gas.

Y-NOT 02-24-2012 04:16 PM

Drag race

Be careful when using the word DRAG around Bob. I have roomed with him.
Bill

Sorry for getting of subject.
How about a rolling escort for the COBRA ride?
His wife might want to be included.
