I don't know, but I suspect if you leave the wheels on for a long time, it makes it really hard to take them off, especially for the first time. When I got my used Cobra the first thing I had to do was remove the tires and look around. I'm just that kind of guy..... The Cobra only had 1,700 miles in 3 years, but they were REALLY hard to remove with a lead hammer. Now it seems I'm always removing the wheels and they come off no problem. Originally there was plenty of never seize so that is not a factor.
