Default Mount Lemmon run Phx. and Tucson

Putting together a run up Mt Lemmon in Tucson with the Phx & Tucson Cobra Club's on either Sat May 14th or Sat May 21st
Tentative itinerary

Option #1
~ meet at the base of Mt Lemmon in Tucson at the Safeway/McDonald's parking lot on Tanque Verde Rd/E Catalina Hwy @ approx 8:30am to head up Mt Lemmon around 9:00am (it takes approx 30 min's to reach Ski Valley and breakfast is served only from 9:00-11:00am)
~have breakfast and ride the lift up to top of Ski valley (w/purchase of breakfast you get a free lift ticket)
~then head down to Tucson and go by Rick Riley's window with the Cobra's (will arrange with Dan R. from Phx for location)
~then head home

Option #2:
~still meet at 8:30am as above
~still drive up Mt Lemmon to the top but no breakfast or lift ride
~instead of breakfast head to Al & Patty Weaver's house in Vail, AZ for BBQ (swimming if you dare)
~then after BBQ we can all head by Rick Riley's window with the Cobra's
~then head home from there

Please RSVP date and Option choices on the forum ASAP (MAJORITY RULES for date and option)
We will supply the food and drinks!!!

Al & Patty

Good try Al, but you have to take more control than that. Suggest the best dates that are available for you.. after all, you own the pool. Seriously, suggest a date or dates and see who wants to go which day. If you leave it as open as you have, you'll get suggestions for dates between May and August. I suggest May 21 or 22. Saturday or Sunday.

It's getting hot, the sooner the better.
I say the 14th.

#2 for me, I would like to do lunch at your place.
We did something like this about 5 years ago at Tucson Johns house, it was a nice time.

May 14th works best for me. I'm out of town the remainder of May. Option #1 would be my choice.

I suggested the 21 or 22 of May because we are already obligated for a graduation on the 14. If that's the date that works best, then enjoy.. I'll let you know what I find out with Rick and when and where is the best time and place to harass ,er, um, uh.. visit him..

Default Mt. Lemmon Run

The Tucson group just went up Mt. Lemmon on April 30. Not that it isn't a great drive every weekend. We do have a Cars&Coffee event on May 14, from 8:00 to 10:00, so May 21 may work better. Option #1 works best for me.

See Al, I told you so.. Never easy. Make up your mind when you are going to do it and set the date. Those that make it, fine. Those that don't, that's OK too. Just the way the Mercedes bends..
