Well Bob, I guess that's not your leg teasing the sharks in the upper right hand corner.

Sorry guys, not going to make this one. Caught a bug, probably from one of the Grandkids and feel like sh*t. If I improve between now and 5:30 tomorrow I'll be there otherwise have a good drive.

Now I'm begining to worry. We may be seeing the first passing of the plaque from Phoenix to Tucson. Mikie, you better send Bob some $2 bills, quick!

Off topic.

We did see dolphins a few times on this boat trip. The pictures posted were sand sharks and rays. The rays are extremely friendly and come right up to you. Water is only about three feet deep in the Lagoon which completely surrounds the island of Moorea.

LOl. Heck Karl, I was going to make it a round robin and head back north with you and the crew on the 77/79 two lane instead of the I 10.

Maybe just us..Not important.. We just go... free ice cream is free ice cream.. Besides, I stopped and talked with Rick tonight on my way back from Tucson.. He's looking forward to seeing whomever shows up. So .. and it's on the way back if you come back through Florence.

Enjoy your ride, and drive safe.

What a great run! There were 7 Cobras from the Phoenix area and 6 from Tucson, up on Mt. Lemmon. A very nice turnout on a beautiful morning. Good thing the count at the Cars and Coffee show was meaningless, otherwise Phoenix would have lost the $2 bill trophy, but a couple of the Tucson folks didn't make the drive up the mountain.

I was totally impressed with the scenery and the roadway on the mountain. This was my first trip up there but it won't be my last.

Good to see several from the Tucson gang, even 4into4 Dave came to the show, with his evil sounding Z06, and Tucson John, in his (gasp) Mustang. John said he's made a few offers and will probably wind up with another Cobra, one of these days, when the right deal comes along.

Thanks Al and Patty for putting this run together. Good Job!
Now, how about the wine country, when the temperatures cool a bit?
Also, talk up the October Coronado Trail Run to see if we can get some Tucson drivers interested. I'm just sayin'....
